It’s one of the most in demand restaurants in all of Nashville. The place is well known for its five course menu that you select on a paper menu and the food is prepared front of you as you watch. Chef Josh Habiger the owner of the restaurant has created an environment that is innovative, but not intimidating. To get a reservation, you have to part with a deposit made by credit card and it is done online only. You have to be committed to get a table at bastion or you may lose your deposit.

Prince’s hot chicken

This place is the godfather of Nashville hot chicken. It has earned itself a spot on this list because of the many imitators worldwide and because of the numerous people that wait in long lines to get in. They offer pan fried spicy chicken made to order. This is where the chicken craze in Nashville got started. There might be other places make great chicken and have drinks and nice accommodations, but no one does it like Prince’s.  They also don’t mess around with spice levels. You can’t get a reservation here. Unfortunately you have to wait in line like everyone else to enjoy this delicacy.

Meals on the menu this week are generally different from what was on the menu last week. It is difficult to order specific dishes because of the ever changing menu. If you are up for the best non-alcoholic drink in the city or you are craving a handcrafted cocktail, it is a great place to go. Getting a reservation might not be a problem, but the menu and price of your meal might be.
