Fun Things to Do in Nashville

There are a lot of fun and interesting things to do in Nashville. Everything is bigger and better in Nashville. If you live in Nashville, or you are considering relocating here, here are some of the top things to do:

Visit Lake Radnor State Park

Most people enjoy being around nature. The serene green environment at Lake Radnor State Park is inviting and helps give you peace of mind. Visitors and residents alike enjoy going for peaceful walks in the park, though it can get a bit crowded at times, especially in the fall and summer. For those who love getting back to nature, this is a tranquil getaway.

Munch on Hot chicken

Nashville is possibly the best place to find spicy chicken. Others have tried to imitate it, but Nashville has the best. If you want a hot chicken treat, Prince’s Hot Chicken is a great place to go. They make delicious chicken, and they have been doing it for over 70 years (so they know what they are doing). The hot chicken and waffles served on Sundays with fruit compote will have you coming back again and again.

Browse and Eat at the Nashville Farmers Market

This is home to fresh produce and some of the most amazing natural foods in the area. It is fantastic, especially during the weekends when you can shop for fresh produce that is right from the farm. It is also home to amazing restaurants, artisans, vendors selling crafts, and much more. The market houses 16 restaurants and shops. Whatever kind of delicious meal you are looking for; you are most likely going to find it here.

Visit the Country Music Hall of Fame

For music enthusiasts, Nashville is legendary. You don’t have to be a fan of country music to appreciate this place. This place honors musicians from the time recorded music began up to today. The museum is home to more than 2.5 million musical artifacts. The collection of instruments, clothes and cowboy boots is impressive. It is one of the top attractions in Nashville.

Enjoy live music

As mentioned before, Nashville is a place for music lovers. On the Lower Broadway are honky tonk bars offering live music every single day.  It’s a must see for visitors and locals too. Sip on a beverage of your choice and enjoy live music as you relax and unwind.

Visit the Andrew Jackson’s Hermitage

It used to be the home of Andrew Jackson, a former President of the United States. His mansion has been turned into a museum. The museum has an excellent array of displays and exhibits documenting the history of the home and the life of the President.

The Farm House

It is a restaurant owned by Chef Trey Cioccia.  He combines Italian and Southern Heritage with a farm to table philosophy that has made this place famous. Most of his ingredients are fresh and seasonal, and he works with local farmers to bring what is the best and freshest to the table.
